Really. What I thought was just a scratchy throat turned into a full blown cold. I ate out on Saturday, and suspected gluten exposure. They couldn't even guarantee their steaks were GF.. Ummm. wut? The next day I'm sick. Seriously the only times I've had a cold in the last 3+ years is indulgence in wheat. Scouts honor. Maybe it's a coincidence, but I dunno.
I couldn't breathe and was miserable for 2 days. Luckily by Wednesday things were looking up and feel about 98% better now (Friday) not bad. Not too long ago a cold would always turn into a sinus infection and weeks of antibiotics and feeling like crap. So thankful I found Atkins/paleo. bloop.
So needless to say, I did NOT get any C25K runs in this week. :( I just took a walk with the dog and decided to do some jogging intervals. I didn't have my ipod so it was just a little, and I definitely didn't push myself. I don't want to push too hard. We made good time and it felt goooood. I really need a GPS watch because I never know how far I'm going or what my pace is or anything. It's annoying trying to figure it out when I get home. Maybe someday.
Monday I'm on target to finally start week 6. I'm worried that the lapse will make me regress a bit. Luckily there's two more workouts with walking intervals so hopefully it won't be too hard to get back in the saddle.
