Tonight I finished the last C25K workout with walking intervals! It's all running now! Did pretty good - at the end was quite a big hill and I was struggling so I stopped for about 10 seconds to drink some water. Still not bad at all. I try to remember where I start and stop, and I figure I did .85-.90 mile in 10 minutes. So that's about a 11.5 minute mile. It should get easier to track going forward because there is no more walking :) After I do my first 5K I may treat myself to a GPS watch.
Another milestone - I ran on one of the main roads! I have always been so self conscious and embarrassed to even just run outside in my neighborhood. Tonight I ran out in the main road where tons of cars drove by! eeek! Huge personal victory!
