I think I have started C25K at least 2 times now. I never got far. I think partly is due to my lack of desire / motivation. I am enjoying it MUCH more now that I'm running outdoors instead of the treadmill. I decided to start with this training first, then move up to a 10K training, then a 1/2 marathon training. Since I'm targeting January / February 2015, I have plenty of time. I don't want to rush it.
I am hoping to finish the C25K at the end of September / early October. There is a 5K that would be close by, and a cause that I support. That's September 28th. We'll see how I do the next few weeks.
Tonight was Week 1, Day 2. While not hard, like 'oh my god I'm going to die', it's definitely not easy either. Some jogging intervals were easier than others - beginning and ending. Looking forward to seeing how I do with Week 2 where there's 90 seconds of jogging! :O I had forgotten which music I had set up for my playlist. I was pleasantly surprised when Sigur Ros' Agaetis Byrjun came on. I love looking at all the different houses as I walk / jog by.
I got my new sneakers! They are very comfy - and purple! :D I hope to get back into the Yoga studio after too long of a hiatus.
Overall - I feel good and excited!
